Back home again

The St. James' crew has returned safely after an uneventful all day trip yesterday. We all agree that this was one of the best trips ever, with an awesome group of people --both host families and fellow workers.


Our high points and low points: for Sylvia, the high point was being a team leader, and the low point not finishing the bathroom project that her team worked on. Katie's high point was being on Sylvia's team, and low point also not completing the work on their project. Barbara's low point was leaving Grace House, and high point was the way the group worked together and the incredible host families.




Cathy was very moved by the faith and the music of the people we met and worked with; low point, as always, was the heat and humidity.





We thank the people of Episcopal Appalachian Ministries, Grace House, and all the host families and their friends. Most of all, we thank the people of St. James' whose generous donations make this trip possible each year.
