Anticipation...

I just received fabulous news that I am going to be team leader. This means that I am going to be in charge of a project on one of the sites. I am so excited because I am going to be able educate new people on what the project may entail. I am not exactly sure what I am going to be doing, but I am up for the challenge. This is a huge honor because I did not think this was going to be happen so soon. I cannot wait for the work week to start so that I can put my talents to work! (S.O.)

Things at Grace House are fantastic as usual. The people here this week seem really nice. Most were here last year so it is great to see them again! Tonight we have a meeting to find out what projects we will be working on. Should be interesting! :) (K.L.)

This morning we worshipped with the people of St. John's Episcopal Church in Roanoke. They were so welcoming, and some remembered us from last year! Tonight we get our assignments and get to work in the AM. There are 24 of us here from age 15 to 81, old friends and new. I sure hope I don't have to go in any crawl spaces. The camp director asked if I was afraid of snakes -- not a good sign. (CD)

We are here and it is awesome. We were greeted with great smiles and huge hugs. We will divide up into our groups later tonight and find out what our jobs will be. I am sure it will be a busy week. (BMW)
